Appointment Process Changes

Wilderness Road Surgery is now in a phase of lock-down due to the COVID-19 Pandemic to protect vulnerable patients and health care staff.

The majority of consultations will take place over the phone.

You will not be allowed access into the building unless you have a pre-booked face-to-face appointment that has been agreed with a clinician over the phone. If you would like to book an appointment to speak to a doctor or nurse, please call the Surgery or contact the surgery here.

If you have a pre-booked appointment please knock on the front bay window, you will be asked to confirm your appointment details before being allowed into the building.

Prescription Changes

Please request all repeat prescriptions here, if you do not have access to these facilities then you can post the repeat into the post box by the front door.

All Prescriptions will be sent directly to the pharmacy – you are advised to nominate the pharmacy of your choice to your repeat request.

You will not be allowed to collect the prescription from the surgery. If you have not nominated a pharmacy it will be sent to Reading pharmacy, 105 Wokingham Road, RG6 1LN.

Document Collection

All letters, correspondence and sick notes will be available for collection by arrangement. Please call the surgery or contact the surgery here.
