Emergencies
In severe emergencies, e.g. chest pain or collapse, you should telephone 999 for an ambulance.
After calling the ambulance you may wish to call the practice for further advice.
For trivial or less important medical issues please consider using NHS Direct NHS Direct (0845 4647) or you local pharmacist.
If you need a doctor or nursing help:
Please telephone the surgery on 0118 934 6680. During surgery hours the message will tell you to press 1 for a medical emergency and the receptionists will deal with your problem immediaately. If the surgery is closed a message will tell you what to do.
Between 6.30pm and 8am weekdays and at weekends we are covered by Westcall (0118 978 7811). You may be given advice, seen at the Westcall centre in the Royal Berkshire Hospital or offered a home visit.
