People who are unwell are often vunerable and frightened. There are often lots of young children on the premesis too.
To protect them we do not accept any behaviour from staff or patients that may upset them.
Legislation came into force at the end of November 2009 that made ‘causing a nuisance or disturbance on NHS premises’ a criminal offence under the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act.
Any persons considered to be behaving in that manner will be reported to the police and removed from Twyford Surgery’s list of patients.
